I guess I didn't understand that you were creating these items to sell, I thought you were just making them to have them (stockpile for building purposes). Well there are little bit more efficient ways of doing it if you're talking about mass production. This confirms where i was tentatively headed. Do this for every item i want to sell to houses. So I guess the answer is, for example to make shoes to sell at the market, I should build a big shoe factory that makes the farm->animal feed->leather + ore->nails => shoes->market. I have done that with belts (but WAY bigger mess). So basically you have all the various needs for building going into barns. However, I really don't recommend doing this in most cases. Here is a pic of my town :D At least the core of it. It's completed isolated, apart from all other cloth/wood/etc production. Here is an example of my cloth belt production line. My towns end up having dozens of each building and I mass produce just about everything XD Same reason, you need a reserve of Planks so you can build things. Directly next to it is another forestry pumping logs into a mill which pumps planks into a barn. You need plain ol logs for some things, so I like having a permanently filling stockpile of them. What I do is create isolated pockets of production all over the map for everything that I need.įor example, I have a Forestry pumping logs into a barn by itself on the map and that is all, start to finish. You can throw as many belts/chutes out of a building as you want, provided you use "Grabbers" for any tile that isn't the direct exit of the building.
